Mindfulness is an important and fundamental tool to take a step back from the worries and stresses of busy day to day life. Tapestry weaving is a great way to unwind and focus your mind and hands on something else. Experiment with a range of techniques, yarns and materials to create your own woven piece of artwork!

£45 per person

Come and socialise with likeminded individuals and have fun exploring and learning something new. Help yourself to tea and coffee whilst we learn the basics of tapestry weaving using sustainably sourced yarns and materials to create one off, personal woven art works that you can put pride of place in your home or gift to someone special.

Dr Samantha Williams will join the session and help us learn a bit more about what mindfulness is and why being creative can help your well-being.

Jennifer Anne Studios is run by Jenny, an emerging textile and fibre artist from Norfolk. Jenny specialises in hand woven textiles pushing technique and fibre in contemporary ways. Being a sustainability advocate, Jenny opts for more environmentally friendly fibre and yarn choices which results in the play and experimentation of otherwise wasted materials.
