Award and showcased work to industry

Jennifer Anne Williams, is the face behind Jennifer Anne Studios. From Norfolk, England, Jenny is a material researcher and sustainable innovator. Specialising in weaving, Jenny has also explored areas of bio-materials, hand-spinning and material research. Responding to the overwhelming impact design has on the planet, Jenny strives to discover and explore alternative materials, to synthetics and cotton, that may otherwise be overlooked such as waste by-products. Check out the Portfolio to find out more about our research and development in this area.

As well as exploring innovative materials and their relationship between fibre and cloth, Jenny aims to promote and educate fellow designers and the public to delve into learning about these dying crafts, to reignite a passion and connection between consumer and fabric. Jenny believes that we are losing touch with the process of fibre to textiles/fashion as a whole and in order to see a more sustainable future we need to educate and inspire, you! The fellow designers, younger generation and anyone who has a creative eye. Through holding workshops and one on one tuition, Jenny inspires and opens peoples minds to the endless exciting possibilities of textiles and its processes.

Jenny is currently lecturing Art and Design students at the College of West Anglia. Doing just that, Jenny is inspiring the next generation of artists and designers to ensure a positive impact is made for generations to come.

Jenny is open to opportunities as well as freelance work and services, feel free to drop an email and get in touch, we love inspiring curious people!

If you have any questions or queries regarding the workshops please also feel free to get in touch via our email and we’ll be more than happy to help.
